Kiss me goodnight
When you’ve met the man you’ll eventually marry, you hope that he might kiss you good night, but he has other plans… the long game? Or just an old fashioned gentleman? We say ‘gentleman’ all the way!

“Daniel and Maryana met at Southbank whilst out for the evening with their respective friends enjoying the night life. Maryana was single and ready to mingle! What she didn’t know was that she wasn’t going to be single for long after meeting her handsome groom to be that night!
Daniel spotted the gorgeous Maryana from afar and decided to do the courageous task of chatting her up. They got along well and Maryana was a little keen to get to know this fella a bit more. The end of the night came and Maryana was hoping for a kiss but Daniel being the gentleman that he was, decided to refrain from such a gesture. Maryana had lucked out! At some stage during the night, they must have exchanged phone numbers as a few days later, Maryana was going to a festival, and she decided to ask Daniel to come with her. She wasn’t quite sure if he would say yes or not but to her surprise, he came along. They dated for months, and it got to the point that obviously Daniel was a bit slow on the uptake as Maryana had to ask, “are you going to ask me to be your girlfriend?”
It would be their similar interests and values in life that would lead to a somewhat drawn-out proposal from Daniel to his gorgeous bride to be. Daniel had found a ring, so he was all set. They went to Mooloolaba one weekend for their anniversary, so this was the perfect time for Daniel to pop the question. He had planned to propose at dinner, but the restaurant wasn’t quite the place they thought it was going to be so Daniel didn’t do it there. They then went to another place for drinks, but he still didn’t get the courage to do it. They then went for a romantic walk along the beach. This was the perfect location for a proposal at the water’s edge with the moon reflecting off the water however, Maryana happened to spot a rat and was quite disgusted by this, so it just wasn’t the right moment. By this stage, the ring was burning a hole in his pocket!
They got back to their accommodation and in the confines of their room and with Maryana in her PJs, Daniel FINALLY asked the question. After all this, Maryana thought he was joking and asked him in a colourful way was he serious??? Maryana was so excited that she just simply cried….ALOT!
Maryanna and Daniel said their “I dos” at Redland Bay Golf Club. Miss Weddings styled their incredible space. Flowers by TN Bloom, signage by Amber Luxe. Photos by Romana Saeheng of course lol. Their day was epic! So romantic and so beautiful!
